For your first visit:

Pick a worship service

We offer identical Sunday morning worship services at 9:00 and 10:45am in the Family Life Center. We recommend arriving about ten minutes before the service begins to allow time for parking. Look for the special signs in the parking lot for our first-time guests.

We also have a Spanish service at 10:45am on Sundays in the Chapel.

Location

We are located at 1320 Auburn Way S, Auburn, WA (map). Our phone number is 253.833.5660.

What can I expect on Sunday?

At Grace Community Church you can feel free to dress as casual or as formal as you like. We encourage you to come as you are. Our worship music offers you a variety of contemporary and blended styles that allow you the opportunity to have a meaningful and deeper praise and worship experience as an individual and as part of the corporate Body of Christ.

I have children

Our Children’s Ministry offers quality programs for children from birth through fifth grade during our Sunday morning services. We also offer small group studies on Wednesday evenings for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Please register at Grace Kids Central in the south hallway. More information can be found on our Grace Kids page.

The Collective is for our Middle School and High School Students. Middle School students meet Wednesday night, 6:30-8:30pm. High School students meet Wednesday night, 7:00-8:30pm. There are also mid-week High School small group studies. More information can be found on our Student Ministries page.

After the service

Visit the guest reception held after each morning service. This takes place in the Reception Room, located just inside the west entry. We have a small gift for you, and look forward to meeting you!

I’d like to make Grace my church home.  What is my next step?

One of the first things we encourage you to do as soon as you sense Grace might become your church family is to attend the Joining the Team class. This three-hour class will give you a good overview of who we are as a church family and will be helpful to you as you consider whether Grace will become your church home (note: it is required if you are planning to become a member).  Think of it as taking a test drive for a car you are considering purchasing. You’ll get the opportunity to look under the hood by discovering what is important to us, how we function, and most importantly how you can serve Jesus with us!

The class is held on Sunday morning from 9am until noon in order to make it convenient. If you have children through 5th grade they can easily attend Sunday school or the nursery during this time.  In order to help us plan effectively for each class, we do ask that you register ahead of time. To register, simply stop by the HUB located in the main lobby on one of the two Sundays prior to the class.

For additional information about the class, please contact Sherry Arens at sarens@gccauburn.net or 253.833.5660 x273.

Upcoming Joining The Team classes.

I’ve attended Joining the Team, now what should I do?

Once you’ve attended the Joining the Team class and are confident that Grace is your church home, we encourage you to join a small group.  This will allow you to participate in biblical community in such a way that will be instrumental in transforming your life.

Small Groups – Here at Grace, we place high value on biblical community in the small group environment for all ages. We believe that God’s grace is best experienced in the spiritual community that happens in small groups. Small groups have many different looks: Men, women, home Bible studies, recovery groups, mission teams, prayer groups, discipleship groups, students, and children. For more information, email sbusse@gccauburn.net.

What if I have questions about God, or it has been a long time since I’ve attended church?

We encourage you to join the Starting Point class. Starting Point is for seekers who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity, as well as those who have just begun a relationship with Jesus Christ. It is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point is a safe place for people with questions about faith, as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups meet for ten weeks and together explore the grand story of the Bible. Material cost is $25.00. Registration is necessary to attend. Email lmcfarland@gccauburn.net.
