Our purpose is to “Invite, Connect, and Partner” with men in their spiritual journey. We want to come alongside others to help them become more devoted followers of Jesus. We recognize that not studying Scripture regularly, by oneself and with others, and being isolated from other guys are two key factors that take a man out. We’ve designed events and activities to help men continually grow in their faith, develop successful spiritual disciplines, mentor and be mentored, foster new and meaningful relationships, and enjoy the comradery of other guys in various settings.
MEN’S ANNUAL FALL RETREAT
September 22-24 • Seabeck Conference Center, Seabeck, WA
Theme: Overcoming obstacles in the journey to authentic manhood
“Encouraging men to stand strong in following their Savior through the challenging times of life.” Sign up or ask for more information in the lobby. Registration is also available online.
Men’s Life Groups and Bible Studies
We have groups that meet throughout the week and on weekends, both mornings and evenings, at the church and off-campus. Contact Lisa at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Several times a year we host breakfasts at Grace to gather the men. These breakfasts are great opportunities to meet other men, be challenged and encouraged in your faith, and leave more equipped to faithfully follow and serve God. They are for all men, especially those who love bacon for breakfast. $5 per person covers the cost of this 90-minute event.
WAWG (Weekend Away With God)
Periodically throughout the year, we will gather a small group of guys (5 to 10) to get away for the weekend to build deeper relationships with God and each other. The WAWG is low on agenda and high on relationship building with Jesus, where the time is designed to individually listen and respond to what God is speaking into one’s life. It is also a time to encourage and pray for one another, share each other’s burdens, and help each other stay on course with what God has called each man to be and do.
Men’s Game Night is held several times yearly as an event to have fun, fellowship, and share one’s life through the avenue of indoor competition. It is open to both the churched and unchurched and is held after Saturday evening service in the Youth Center/Chapel. Activities include awesome board and video games, along with pool, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball. Attendees are asked to bring either soda pop and/or a snack to share; if dinner is desired, Grace Café is open for you to purchase.
