Starting Point • On-going classes

The purpose of the Starting Point class is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, by creating a conversational environment where they can explore faith and experience community. This ten-week class is for those who are new to a relationship with Jesus Christ, or those who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity. Registration is necessary to attend, there is a $25.00 material fee. Sign up in the lobby on Sunday, or email Lisa McFarland at lmcfarland@gccauburn.net.

This class is designed to encourage and equip people to Reach Up to God, Reach In to one another’s lives, and Reach Out to share Jesus! This is a guided journey through many relevant issues of today’s world and its need to understand and connect to Jesus. Topics are discussed together as a group and then evaluated in light of what God says about them. Anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with Jesus and with others is encouraged to come. This is a great way to get connected! Facilitated by the Emerging Generations Team.

Singles/Careers • 30 – 50ish • Faith Lessons on the Promised Land • B62

Filmed on location in Israel, Faith Lessons is an in depth video tour of the buried, distant, or otherwise forgotten places where the stories of the Bible actually happened. From this cultural perspective, teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan challenges long held western assumptions about even the most well known Scripture passages. The result? You and your family will simply never read the Bible the same again. The videos are around 30 minutes each and will be followed by discussion questions.

Fresh Wind (formerly CBK) • The Revelation of Jesus Christ • B68
It is not about the demonic creatures; it is all about seeing Jesus Christ! Our text is Revelation, the last book of the New Testament. Come anticipating the blessing God promises to those who read and heed this dynamic book for the church today!  Join us as A Fresh Wind comes to Christians Beyond Kids, with new long-term leadership and teaching.  Facilitated by Pastor Randy Fulton.

BC to AD: Old Testament • Module 2 • March 30 – June 29 • 7:00pm • Room B63-5
The second module is 12 weeks. This study is an overview of the Old Testament, New Testament, and Christian History. BC to AD is a discussion-oriented exploration of how the Bible and history speak to the contemporary issues of our time. This study spends 24 weeks with the OT, 12 weeks with the NT, and 12 weeks learning about the last 2,000 years of Christian history. Students are required only to register for one 12-week module at a time. Students are responsible to download or otherwise obtain their own syllabus materials from the Timothy Ministries website. HERE and NOW… THERE AND THEN

Here and Now...There and Then by Beth Moore is a lecture series on the book of Revelation. Beth presents many points of view, allowing you to decide for yourself when the interpretation varies among scholars. She teaches that God is as specific about what He does reveal as He is about what He does not reveal. Each of the 11 video sessions is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
