Is your heart aching to hear your Savior say, "Come closer, there's more"? Come join us in this 11-week “Journey of the heart with Jesus into His vineyard teachings," from John 15. We will begin our journey with a selection of Christ’s parables, and then conclude on Palm Sunday with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. As we pursue the language of the heart in seeking a more intimate relationship with Jesus, He says, “My sheep hear my voice and I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27) Facilitated by Dave Baker.

What can we, as parents, do to get our kids to embrace the faith, so it becomes real to them and not just the faith of their parents? This class is designed to encourage and equip people to Reach Up to God, Reach In to one another’s lives, and Reach Out to share Jesus! This is a guided journey through many relevant issues of today’s world and its need to understand and connect to Jesus. Topics are discussed together as a group and then evaluated in light of what God says about them. Anyone who wants to grow in their relationship with Jesus and with others is encouraged to come. This is a great way to get connected! Facilitated by the Emerging Generations Team.

Spiritual Warfare - Singles/Careers, 30 – 50ishB62
We will study the battlefield, the capabilities of the enemy, how to recognize the foe, and our position in Christ that assures victory. This study is based on Spiritual Warfare by Dr. Karl Payne and Spiritual Bondage by Dr. Neal Anderson. We are called to be soldiers, prepared for the battles we face. Being unprepared exposes us to greater loss. The Bible is clear that Christians are involved in spiritual warfare, and our orders are clear: to "resist the devil and he will flee from you." In Matthew 16:26 (NLT) Jesus asks, "What do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose
your soul?” Sessions will focus on seeking and/or becoming a soul friend or mentor who helps others pay attention to the activity of God in their lives. In the first five weeks, we will discover what it means to be a soul/spiritual friend, how the process transpires, themes of the faith journey, and the friend's capabilities, character, and commitment. In the second five weeks, we will examine the intentional role and goals of mentoring, the rhythms of spiritual development, and the exercises and tools that facilitate the work of the Holy Spirit. The course is balanced with biblical study, mentoring content, and application of learning to our lives. Facilitated by Anita Schamber.

March 7 – May 23, 5:30-7:30pm In Isaiah 40-66, the Lord told Isaiah to speak kind words to Israel. He wanted to comfort His people with His words. After their punishment for sins, there will be great restoration for them. This nine-week study will give you a taste of the world's future - God's greatness, God's grace, and God's glory! Join us as we study the words of Isaiah, which Jesus (the very Messiah prophesied in Isaiah!) Himself studied and often spoke about. Led by Dave Shirley.

Perspectives on the World Christian Movement is a 15-week study that will give you an opportunity to learn about God's intentions and actions in the world. You will develop a deeper understanding of the Bible and a closer relationship with God. Learn how to invest your gifts and skills in the church, the community, and the world. Through this study, God will demonstrate His intention to give you insight and direction as you make an impact in this generation. College credit is available. BC to AD: From Before the Beginning to After the EndB63-5
Begins January 5, 7:00-8:30pm, first module is 12 weeks
This study is an overview of the Old Testament, New Testament, and Christian History. BC to AD is a discussion-oriented exploration of how the Bible and history speak to the contemporary issues of our time. This study spends 24 weeks with the OT, 12 weeks with the NT, and 12 weeks learning about the last 2,000 years of Christian history. Students are required only to register for one 12-week module at a time. Students are responsible to download or otherwise obtain their own syllabus materials from the Timothy Ministries website.
