In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this Beth Moore study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Workbook fee is $18. Facilitated by Jenny Howard.

The Seed | 6 weeks
The Seed, by Priscilla Shirer, is a six-part series of short videos that includes thought-provoking, modern-day parables with weekly Bible study guides. Homework involves studying Scripture based on the “5 Ps”: position yourself to hear from God; pore over the passage and paraphrase the major points; pull out the spiritual principles; pose the question; and plan obedience and pin down a date. Workbook fee is $18. Facilitated by Brenda Bindschatel.
