For every woman no matter her age or stage of life.
Women's Ministries exist to support and equip women for life and ministry by encouraging them in their personal and spiritual growth. Our prayer is that each woman at Grace will find a place of ministry and a place to be ministered to through some facet of the opportunities provided.
*Between a Rock and a Grace Place (7 weeks)
Tuesdays | 6:30-8:30pm | Begins Jan 10
This study will help you decide where you stand when you are caught between a rock and a hard place: Will you place yourself in a posture of humility and complete dependence on God, or will you just ‘try harder’ and stumble over what could be a transforming encounter with grace? Carol Kent and her husband, Gene, are living what some would call a heartbreaking life—their son, Jason, a young man who initially had so much promise, is now living out a life sentence for murder in a maximum security prison. All their appeals have been exhausted. But despite their hopeless situation, the Kents live a life full of grace, With hope, joy, and a sense of humor, in this video-based study, Carol will help you find God’s ‘grace places’ in the middle of your worst moments. Book fee is $10.00. Led by Brenda Bindschatel.
*Discerning the Voice of God: How to Recognize when
God Speaks (8 weeks)
Tuesdays | 6:30-8:00pm | Begins Jan 24
Do you feel the ability to hear God’s voice is for other people and not for you? The God who loved you and died for you longs to communicate with you. Wherever you are in your spiritual walk, God will find a way to speak to you in a way that you understand. According to Priscilla Shirer, “Recognizing God’s voice is not just a privilege given to a select few. It is the right of every believer.” By studying the Word of God and heightening our spiritual senses to hear the still small voice of God, we will indeed recognize the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Discover the treasure of recognizing how God keeps in touch with His beloved people and watch as He communicates with you. Workbook fee is $10.50. Led by Jan Dwyer Bang.
*James: Mercy Triumphs
Tuesdays | 6:30-8:30pm | Begins Jan 10 | 8 weeks
Wednesdays | 9:30-11:30am | Begins Jan 18 | 15 weeks
James, Jesus’ own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this new Beth Moore study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Workbook fee is $18.00. Led by Julie Ross Tuesday evenings, and Belva Hagemeister Wednesday mornings.
*Come! Behold Your God (15 weeks)
Wednesdays | 9:30-11:30am | Begins Jan 25
Thursdays - Video Based Study | 9:30-11:30am | Begins Jan 26
This winter we will learn who God is through the study of His attributes. This 15-week study will consist of teaching a specific attribute one week, followed by a week of extended time in small groups focusing on prayer and application of that attribute. We will also be offering the “Child Love” children’s program, which includes an age appropriate study. We look forward to worshiping, learning, and fellowshipping with a group of women this winter. Come fall in love with the Lover of your soul. Material fee is $10.00. Led by Johnnie Sue
Forsberg and Koinonias.
*Wednesday morning children’s program, Child Love, will be provided at $5.00 per mom, per quarter. Please register your child(ren) when you sign up for any Wednesday morning study.
*Indicates fee for materials.

This women's ministry meets occasionally throughout the year for a casual Saturday morning brunch, praise and worship, fellowship, and a guest speaker. The environment will allow women, ages 13 to 113, to network and develop contacts with other women, and to connect them into their next step, spiritually.

MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program
designed to nurture mothers who have children from infancy through kindergarten. If you are pregnant with your
first child, or are in the process of adopting, you are welcome too!
You do not have to attend church or be from a specific
denomination to join us.
MOPS is dedicated to the message that "mothering
matters." Better moms raise better children and
make the world a better place. MOPS helps mothers
find friendship and acceptance, develop mothering
skills, and promote spiritual growth. The
women are of many ages and backgrounds, but
share the same desire—to be the best mothers they
can be.
Join us for a great time of fellowship with other mothers. We have groups that meet Tuesday mornings and evenings at the church.
God has chosen you to be alive at a time of unprecedented opportunity. He has chosen YOU to experience His presence and become all that He means you to be. We invite you to connect with God and with each other at Grace and to grow in all that He offers you by experiencing God through a community of believers that fosters experiencing the Word, Worship, Fellowship and Prayer.
There are exciting opportunities planned just for you. Small groups, prayer clusters, Bible studies, equipping activities, and special events are places for you to connect with God and with other women. Be encouraged by experiencing authentic transparent friendships and be enriched by studying and applying God's Word.
I look forward to seeing "Christ formed in you" and seeing the impact He will have in and through your life as you connect with Him, with others at Grace, and with those in your circle of influence outside of Grace.
