Women's Ministries

For every woman no matter her age or stage of life.

Women's Ministries exist to support and equip women for life and ministry by encouraging them in their personal and spiritual growth. Our prayer is that each woman at Grace will find a place of ministry and a place to be ministered to through some facet of the opportunities provided.

Women's Summer Studies
Tuesdays | 6:30-8:30pm | Begins June 19

James: Mercy Triumphs  |  8 weeks
James, Jesus’ own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this Beth Moore study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Workbook fee is $18. Facilitated by Jenny Howard.

HE IS  |  4 weeks
Come to this four-week summer study to get to know our faithful God!  HE IS is a video collection of four one-hour messages by Beth Moore that are based on Hebrews 11:6, “Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that HE IS and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” Beth Moore has written many best-selling books and is a dynamic teacher and prolific Bible-study author whose public speaking engagements take her across the United States to challenge tens of thousands. Beth has a passion for Christ, a passion for Bible study, and a passion to see Christians living the lives Christ intended. You will be inspired, encouraged, and blessed as you learn from Beth Moore and get to know others who desire to grow in their relationship with Christ and to build a loving community where we can share and grow together. Come discover the One who loves us and is faithful to us! Men and women welcome. Facilitated by Jan Bang.

The Seed  |  6 weeks
The Seed, by Priscilla Shirer, is a six-part series of short videos that includes thought-provoking, modern-day parables with weekly Bible study guides. Each video in the SEED series stands alone and covers a specific topic: forgotten, enough, control, armor, routine of sin, and glory. Homework involves studying Scripture based on the “5 Ps”: position yourself to hear from God; pore over the passage and paraphrase the major points; pull out the spiritual principles; pose the question; and plan obedience and pin down a date. Workbook fee is $18. Facilitated by Brenda Bindschatel.

This women's ministry meets occasionally throughout the year for a casual Saturday morning brunch, praise and worship, fellowship, and a guest speaker. The environment will allow women, ages 13 to 113, to network and develop contacts with other women, and to connect them into their next step, spiritually.

MOPS - Mothers of Preschoolers

MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, a program
designed to nurture mothers who have children from infancy through kindergarten. If you are pregnant with your
first child, or are in the process of adopting, you are welcome too!

You do not have to attend church or be from a specific
denomination to join us.

MOPS is dedicated to the message that "mothering
matters." Better moms raise better children and
make the world a better place. MOPS helps mothers
find friendship and acceptance, develop mothering
skills, and promote spiritual growth. The
women are of many ages and backgrounds, but
share the same desire—to be the best mothers they
can be.

Join us for a great time of fellowship with other mothers. We have groups that meet Tuesday mornings and evenings at the church.

MOMSnext: A group for mothers of grade school-age kids

Moms next logoWe believe Better Moms Make a Better World. This is true during the preschool years and beyond. As mothers enter the school years, new challenges and issues arise, but the need for community and hope remains. For this reason we offer MOMSnext, a ministry to mothers of grade school-age kids.

A MOMSnext is an open, accepting place for all mothers of grade school-age kids to come, just as they are, to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope. MOMSnext will encourage, equip, and develop moms in the next phase of mothering.

A mother’s influence is great during the school years. Join us on Tuesday mornings during the months of September through May for community and hope that is life-changing. For more information, contact Melissa Wallace at mommyand2kids@msn.com.

A Note from Jean

God has chosen you to be alive at a time of unprecedented opportunity. He has chosen YOU to experience His presence and become all that He means you to be. We invite you to connect with God and with each other at Grace and to grow in all that He offers you by experiencing God through a community of believers that fosters experiencing the Word, Worship, Fellowship and Prayer.

There are exciting opportunities planned just for you. Small groups, prayer clusters, Bible studies, equipping activities, and special events are places for you to connect with God and with other women. Be encouraged by experiencing authentic transparent friendships and be enriched by studying and applying God's Word.

I look forward to seeing "Christ formed in you" and seeing the impact He will have in and through your life as you connect with Him, with others at Grace, and with those in your circle of influence outside of Grace.
