FORTY DAYS OF PRAYER
March 8-April 16
The emphasis of 40 days of prayer will start on March 8 and end on Easter Sunday. This year the prayers are specific to our church family. Acts 12:12 “…where many people gathered and were praying.” As we approach Easter, let’s seek God together! Forty days to praise, listen, confess, ask, thank, and walk humbly with the Lord. You can pray alone, with people, your Life Group, and family. The prayer guide is available online, or you can pick up a prayer guide at the table in the lobby during our weekend services.
“…pray for one another…” (James 5:16)
Ways to Request Prayer
When you need help, call on God through prayer. We offer several ways for you to have others involved in lifting your prayer requests and praises to the Lord.
1. Weekend Services
We would love to pray with you in person. After each of our weekend services, you can find warm and caring volunteers available in the front of our Worship Center to pray with and encourage you.
2. Add Your Request to the Weekly Prayer List
Prayer Team members receive the church’s prayer list via email each week and will pray for your request. You can add your request to this list in one of two ways:
• Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your request and contact information.
• You may also use the Welcome Card in the weekend services worship folder. Simply write down your request and place the form in the offering plate when it passes by, or you may drop it in one of the drop boxes as you leave the Worship Center after the service.
3. Post Your Requests to our Prayer Wall
We now have an interactive prayer wall located in our lobby. It is a central place where you can share your prayer requests and pray for others.
4. Prayer Room
Our prayer room is located near the north entrance, across from the Chapel. The prayer room is available during office hours, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and during weekend worship services.
Be part of our Worship Service Prayer Team:
We are a church who prays together, and there is a team of people at the end of each weekend service to offer prayer support. If you are interested in serving on the Worship Service Prayer Team, please contact Dave Kaneshiro at email@example.com or Lisa at 253.833.5660 x229.
