Prayer at Grace

Psalm 62:8 – Trust in him at all times, O people; Pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge.

Psalm 62 encourages us to pour out our hearts to God. We don’t need to put pressure on ourselves to have just the right words when we pray. We don’t have to try to impress God with how much theology we know. He wants us to simply be ourselves and to share our lives with Him. We find great comfort in God as we pray. The Bible tells us we can approach His throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:14-16) because of Jesus, and God will help us with mercy in our time of need. Know that Jesus intercedes for us in prayer, and the Holy Spirit also helps guide our communication and prayers with Father God!

Rooted in Grace
Pastor Jesse Bradley

Ways to Request Prayer

  • Weekend Services

We would love to pray with you in person. After each of our weekend services, you can find warm and caring volunteers available in the front of our Worship Center to pray with and encourage you.

  • Add Your Request to the Weekly Prayer List

Prayer Team members receive the church’s prayer list via email each week and will pray for your request. You can add your request to this list in one of two ways:

  • Send an email to prayer@graceinauburn.com with your request and contact information.
  • You may also use the Connecting Card in the weekend services worship folder. Simply write down your request and place the form in the offering basket when it passes by, or you may drop it in one of the drop boxes as you leave the Worship Center after the service.
  • Post Your Requests to our Prayer Wall

We have an interactive prayer wall located in our lobby. It is a central place where you can share your prayer requests and pray for others.

Ways to Connect

Prayer is the heartbeat of our church. Our desire is that prayer would be everywhere and a vital part of all that we do at Grace. Here are some specific places and times that you can join us in prayer.

Tuesdays • 6:00-7:00am • Community Room

Prayer based on a study of God’s Word and its application to our life. Holy Spirit-led Scripture study, worship, and prayer. Pointing to Jesus through Scripture-based prayer. Led by Mark Peterson.

Thursdays • 5:30-6:30am • Community Room

Thursdays • 6:30-8:00am • Grace Café

A time of prayer focused on praising God using the Word to guide us in praise. Hearing Scripture to guide our requests for others, and know that God has equipped us for today. As the Holy Spirit guides and teaches us, praying Scripture back to the Father. Led by Dave Kaneshiro.

Prayer Room

We have a prayer room that is located near the northwest entrance. The prayer room is available during office hours, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00am to 4:30pm, and during weekend worship services.
