Small Group Finder

Grace Community Church currently has approximately 70 active small groups in various regions of Auburn and the surrounding area. Small groups have many different looks: home Bible studies, recovery groups, missions teams, prayer groups, and discipleship groups.

Use the Group Finder to explore the small groups available in your area.

Here are several other ways to get connected to a small group:

  • People you meet may invite you into their group.
  • You may find the perfect group for you when you stop by our Small Group Counter on Sundays in the lobby, or call Susie Busse at 253.833.5660 x222.
  • You can contact us by emailing now to get plugged into a group.

You may have questions like:
Why are small groups so important?
Small groups connect us to one another and encourage us in our spiritual journey. Small groups are a priority at Grace because:

Groups are relational - We spend a lot of our lives just showing up at stuff. Small groups enable us to be real with each other and actually make friends. It's easy to get lost in the crowd at church. In a small group, relationship is a given.

Groups are customizable - Nobody seems to be complaining about all the free time they have. Small groups help us custom design a time and place for challenging spiritual growth that fits our world, and changes our world.

Groups are spiritual - It's so easy to fake it with people in a crowd, or even when we're listening to someone teach. But in a group we have the chance to be authentic about where we really are, and God meets us where we really are, not where we pretend to be.

Are there groups for students?
Absolutely! We have small groups for middle school (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) students that meet midweek from  September through June. You can join any time. It's a great way for students to connect and develop Christ-centered friendships, not to mention they’re a blast!

What about Celebrate Recovery?
Celebrate Recovery groups are designed for fellowship and to celebrate God’s healing power in our lives. Various gender specific groups are available for drug and alcohol dependency, co-dependency, and others. More>>

There are lots of great things about small groups, but the thing that makes them such a priority for those who want to get connected and grow, is that God’s grace is best experienced in the spiritual community that happens in small groups.
